LSI Industries Inc. has completed the upgrade to the Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium on the campus of the University of Arkansas. The center piece to enhancing the game day experience is the new 16mm LED video board in the North endzone which measures nearly 38' x 167'.
The video board will offer fans a high definition experience by utilizing LSI SMARTVISION® LED technology and a true 16mm display. The new video board is the widest display in college football and features a pixel resolution of 3168 x 720 -- this resolution is greater than two HD screens placed side by side. Further additions include 4 new ribbon displays located in the North and South endzones. LCD locker room displays which are controlled by LSI's Digital Signage Network and IMPACT venue management system have also been added throughout the site. They will feed game day information including time, score, weather and more to players and officials.
The project was the most recent partnership between LSI and the University of Arkansas. This partnership began with the Razorback's 30mm LED video board in 2000. LSI also installed sideline ribbon displays in the stadium for the 2009 season.
